"MAGASIN DESIGN"

 

Our magazine will reframe the biggest problems of our time in terms of their solutions. We will outline a path forward with in-depth analysis, tools for citizen engagement, and stories about real people working for a better world.

Today’s world is not the one we want – climate change, financial collapse, poverty, and war leave many feeling overwhelmed and hopeless.

Our magazine will empower people with the vision and tools to create a healthy planet and vibrant communities. We will do this by:

  • Reframing issues and outlining a path forward;

  • Giving a voice to the people who are making change;

  • Offering resources to use and pass along

 

Our plan is to reach more than 150,000 readers quarterly and magazine will be available for sale in many local bookstores, natural food stores, and newsstands across the United States and in Canada. These locations include small independents and co-ops, as well as large chains.

Most magazines make their money from advertising. But we don’t want advertisers to influence the content of magazine. That’s why we’re ad-free. We will rely on tax-deductible donations from our readers and from foundation grants. Donations also fund outreach to teachers, journalists, grassroots organizations, faith groups, and policy-makers. They will leverage the ideas in magazine to inspire deep shifts at every level of society.
